Back when I started as a game artist in 1999, most of my textures came from scanned in photographs. In about 2001 I decided to buy this early compact digital camera to save a lot of messing around. At 3.3 megapixels it was miles better than the rubbish cameras on phones at the time. It had a Carl Zeiss lens too, which was nice.
